# Fitness Asset Manager (FAM) by Fitness Assets

> Fitness Asset Manager (FAM) is cloud-based equipment maintenance and asset management software for gyms, health clubs, university recreation centers, hotels, and corporate fitness centers. It is made by Fitness Assets (Fitness Assets LLC, Naperville, Illinois, in business since 2005).

FAM is a CMMS built specifically for fitness equipment. Facilities use it to keep a register of every machine (any brand, model, or age — cardio, strength, pools, HVAC, vehicles), automate preventive maintenance, run work orders and service requests, document repairs with parts, costs, photos, and timestamps, and track downtime, equipment costs, and replacement planning across one or many locations. Equipment service companies use it to manage work orders and PM for the facilities they service.
